  • Unlocking Potential Through CEIAG

    Published 11/03/25

On Tuesday, March 11, 26 pupils were selected to participate in mock interviews as part of our Year 11 Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance (CEIAG) program. These sessions were generously facilitated by School Governor Ibrahim Shabbir and four of his colleagues, who were eager to support our Year 11 students in preparing for their upcoming college interviews, while also scouting for potential future talent for their organisation.

Special thanks go to the pupils who participated; they gave their best during the interviews and left a highly positive impression. The interviewers were particularly impressed by the pupils' confident responses and their clear understanding of course requirements and the differences between levels of qualifications available to them.

The purpose of these activities was to provide pupils with the most realistic interview experience possible. Interview questions were supplied by one of our major partner colleges, Joseph Chamberlain College, to replicate the experience the selected students would face the following school day on Wednesday 13 March.

The pupils involved represented our school exceptionally well and upheld our core CARE brand values: being courteous to our guests, demonstrating eagerness and a willingness to succeed in their current studies and post-16 plans, showing respect at all times, and striving for excellence in their conduct, appearance, and future aspirations.
