  • You are doing 2 papers – Religion and Life: Islam (15 May 2017) and Religion and Society: Christianity and Islam (17 May 2017). They are both worth 50% of the final mark. Use your exercise books and your revision guides as well as the resources on this page. You have been given mini summary cards for each topic.

  •  Use active revision strategies such as creating mindmaps and brainstorms (do them), practice in colour summarizing topics, underline or highlight key words in your exercise books and in these notes, explain what you know to someone else, practice doing timed exam questions (set a timer on your phone), write yourself short tests and answer them, use GCSE Bitesize, create charts for topics, stick your charts on your walls, door etc, create symbols, pictures and cartoons on topics.
  •  Learn the key words and their definitions. You have a green card for Religion and Life and a pink card for Religion and Society.
  •  Take regular breaks when revising
  •  If you want extra help, practice exam questions marked or have any questions see your RE teacher.
