MyEd Update - some messages not being displayed on iOS devices

Update 11 June 2021 16:14:

Please note that if some parents are still reporting not being able to see messages in their app, their iPhone may not have downloaded the update automatically to the latest version which is 3.2. Please advise the parent to go to the App Store on their iPhone, search for the MyEd app and tap the Update button. For those parents that have "Automatic Updates" switched on, the app will update in the next 24 hours in the background and all messages sent to them will appear.


Update 11 June 2021 10:43:

We have released an update that fixes the issue below (app version 3.2). This update will be pushed to all users throughout the morning and will automatically download any messages that were not received previously.

We are sorry for any impact caused by this issue, and can assure you that we  have added measures to prevent this happening in future.


 

IRIS MyEd are investigating a potential issue with app messages not being received on some iOS devices since the MyEd update.

Their engineers are working on this as their priority.

  • Your child's tutor group
  • Your name
  • Your mobile number
  • Your mobile device model and version

Please note, this information will be shared with the IRIS MyEd support team who will use this to assist them further in the investigation and carry out any fixes.
